Alexa and Dawson Wedding

I feeling really blessed to have been asked to photograph this wedding.  Alexa and I have been friends since high school - we actually bonded most in a photography class. Every aspect of this wedding was sweet, and I loved watching all their family coming together for a pretty sweet ceremony. 

"Not yet."

Those are the Boy's favorite words. He says them multiple times a day when asked if he is ready to do something else. With all the fun he seems to have playing and exploring, I guess I understand.

Baby Mila

This sweet thing's mommy is one of my favorite people. Ever. It was my pleasure to meet Mila and photograph her. I'm coming to realize that I prefer taking pictures of mommies and babies together over babies solo. And to take them in black and white is that much more dynamic, in my opinion.

I loved seeing how much this little guy has grown since his newborn shots last year. This family gets lucky with the best lighting whenever I photograph them. Plus they are a good-looking* group, so that helps produce quality pictures as well.








*I think everyone is photogenic, so being a good-looking group is something I feel about every group of people. But if someone throws in a Blue Steel, then they are really really good-looking.

It was a great day of celebration. After a great service at church, we all headed over to my parent's house for dinner and an egg hunt.

New Jersey

Remember when I took a trip to NYC? Last August? When I took 4(!) cameras with me? Maybe I didn't share that little bit of info, but it is 100% true. Four cameras, four different types of "film." I finally got around to developing some of the roll film. These are pictures I took at the beach in New Jersey with my 35mm Minolta X-370.

Fun for Everyone

After Christmas, Mom, the Boy, and I took his favorite PA cousins to the Children's Museum of Phoenix. It was super crowded and everyone had fun.

Rex LOVED the marble machine room.

Belle, the Boy, and Leia enjoyed the grocery store and teamwork.

Mom loved playing with the kids and not having to think about the reception anymore.
