on the town monday

on friday night, husband and i went down to tempe town lake and listened to music under the stars. it was a very enjoyable experience. not only did we get to ride in a golf cart from the parking lot, but the corona steel drum band performed. i had no idea this little gem existed. they completely won over my heart when they played a-ha's "take on me." i was a little disappointed because only the bugle line from the academy performed - it was their drumline that was the whole reason i wanted to go - but the bugle line did deliver on a great performance. all in all i enjoyed listening to music outside "under the stars" and having some time alone with husband.
