This August heat is really cramping my style. In an effort to ignore the weather and pretend it were cooler, I wore long pants today for the casual part of the fancy and casual prompt. The jury is still out on whether or not that was a good move. I wore silver flats, and I guess the dress, for the fancy part.

Maybe I should have done jazz hands in this picture to make it extra fancy. There's always next time.

I think it looks AWESOME!!!
I love the bright purple, the thick "look at me" belt and the jeggings/skiny jeans. I love tops with a yoke and a bit of gathering (for opbvious reasons).
For some reason the glasses pop, too with all the solid colors.
You've got me tempted to try this whole fashion blog challenge also. Maybe when things calm down after school starts...
