bokeh is the blur or out-of-focus area of an image. i really love bokeh mostly because it makes basically any setting great. and maybe it makes me feel like i have a superhero power. is there an obnoxious garbage can in the background? bokeh'd! you just want your picture to have some extra depth? bokeh'd!
i have come to find out that this already awesome blur in pictures can take on other shapes. i used a
tutorial and a
flickr photo series to make my own filter. now my superhero powers are greater than before - do you love christmas lights? heart bokeh'd!

I love the second one! Can I have one your early original works? Just so when you become a famous photographer I can brag to my friends that I have a 2009 Lydia Hill photograph.
