this weekend i attended a "where the wild thing are" themed birthday party with baby and husband. the party was for two brothers with birthdays within the same month. i was amazed by all the great activities. the birthday boys' momma did a fantastic job. i was hoping that baby would interact with the other kids, but he prefered to play in the dirt and collect rocks in the furthest corner of the park.

i guess in baby's defense, he did meet some new friends - two puppy dogs hanging out under the table. he spoke more to them than any other person at the party. maybe he took the wild thing theme too literally.
