lately i have had trouble with movies. or maybe it would be better to say i have had trouble with finding the perfect movie where the cinematography was just so, the script was just so, and i could sit through it without feeling like there were avoidable blemishes that left scars on what could have been the perfect film. to me, this was the perfect film. i could relate to it on so many levels. and in a way, it was like someone went into my thoughts/dreams and pulled out this film. the relationship of the characters were real. the jokes were amazing. the music was inspiring. it is set in los angeles, and that was just perfect. it could have easily been set in new york city like so many romantic comedies are, but instead it took the road less traveled. there are just so many amazing things i could say about this movie. i am still processing it all, so maybe in the future i will post again on this one. it pains me that it was just released in the theatre (select ones at that!) and now i have to wait and wait for it to be released on dvd. you better believe that i will try so hard to get back to see this one again before too long.
the trailer
