Made My Day

We have been married for 4 years today. That fact seems blog worthy.

Here is another fact for you: I forget the exact date of our anniversary every year.

I always remember we got married on a Thursday. And that the ceremony was in the San Diego Temple in a room that could not have been filled with more natural light streaming through the windows if it tried. I also always remember being so grateful that most of my family was in that sealing room with us, none of which actually lived anywhere near the San Diego area.

And of course I remember the wedding luncheon, where someone gave me a plate of sliced avocado and I responded "You've have just made my day." True story. I love avocados.

But above all else, I remember how it felt to be marrying my best friend and knowing, without a doubt, that it was right.

We celebrated our day with my lost voice, his cold, and the Boy trying to mooch from our celebratory dinner. And since Joseph Gordon-Levitt didn't make a film of interest this year, we watched Inception for the 2nd year in a row.

After all is said and done, it doesn't matter that I can never remember our exact anniversary date. I still love Husband like fireworks.
