B&W

The latest installment to my photo assignments started off extremely stressful. The only guidelines were that the photos had to be black and white. I really had to focus on what it is that I'm attracted to... it took awhile to define that... Turns out it boils down to discarded/abandoned/neglected junk. Not only am I attracted to that stuff, but I like to give it life. I took portraits of junk for this assignment. And I am very proud how it turned out - so much so that I'm posting here before I submit the assignment to class this evening. Enjoy!

I think my favorite is the car seat. I love the line of the fence, the American flag and the seat. It is just beautiful.

However, Edward is a close second. He's a cool pair of trimmers.

I also love the name Fido.

I love the car bench and the fence. Also, I really like the first picture, and Edward's Scissorhands :)

These are all great, but I just love the composition of the one with the car seat.
