Surprise Adventures

And I'm back. The move was successful and we are all loving the new apartment.

This past week my favorite sister came to visit. No one saw it coming. She called me Thursday morning asking me for my new address. She had mentioned earlier that she was sending something for Baby, so I didn't think anything of it. About 20 minutes later there was a knock on my door and there was my sister! She lives in Pennsylvania, so it was a complete shocker. And a great gift for my mom on Mother's Day. Sister, Mom, and I maximized our time together on Saturday and spent the whole day going on random adventures.

A few of my favorite stops where the following:

*Some scrapbook store - They were demoing a photo printer. The demo description was that if you brought a memory card with about 14 pictures, they would print them out (for FREE!) while demonstrating the features of the printer. It was a nice confidence booster because the lady doing the demo had nothing but positive things to say about my photos. And I walked away with a lot of prints of Baby.

*Ned's Krazy Sub - We met up with my cousin and aunt for lunch. I enjoyed the food and the conversations were fun.

*Goodwill - I love 50% off days at this thrift store! My favorite part of thrifting was the VHS section. I stood in that area just looking at all the movies and reminiscing with family. My extreme love for movies may just stream from my love for nostalgia. Don't worry, I only bought 3 items, none of which were movies. I am mostly a window shopper, which Husband (and our bank account) loves.

*Cousin's House - It had been 6 years since I had been to her house (we usually see each other at my aunt's house), so it was nice to see the changes she has made since then. I love the pictures she displays in her living room of our grandparents. The bonus was walking away with a perfect little table and chairs for Baby.

*Another scrapbook store - I don't scrapbook. At. All. But I love the look of all the paper together on display.

I love my sister a lot and am really glad she came to visit. Hopefully I get to go visit her in the near future.
