this was the cheesiest and sappiest chick flick i have ever seen. the fact that these two friends were so mean and nasty to each other over what was supposed to be one of the happiest days of their lives was stupid. honestly, they couldn't have been that close but i guess they could have been that superficial. if you are in need of a chick flick about cat fights and girl power or the uber tenderness of besties, this film is for you. as for me, i was pretty disappointed in myself that i watch the whole thing. not one of my finer moments.

It WAS a typical superficial girly friends movie, but the best part was that my sweetie went to watch it with me because it was date night and we had tickets we needed to use. Watching a grown man squirm is always fun.

I thought it was funnier when it was called Monster in Law and it was the soon to be mother in law and the bride sabatoging each other.
totally agree but mostly because monster in law had michael vartan going for it. bride wars was lacking in the hot male actor department.
