February - The Boy and I went out on lots of field trips, and have weekly since. It helps that Husband's dad likes to go on field trips as well.
March/April - Both months ended up having the same goal. I have been prioritizing things better as far as I am in control. Last week was hard because I was waiting on a textbook necessary to start another class. Turns out the main post office wanted to hold it for 8 days for kicks and giggles. Blogging ends up being very low on my priority list, hence my absence most days.
Goal for May - Stay on schedule for school. I am a week behind and need to get caught up pronto. If all goes as scheduled, I'll be taking my last final July 5th. Figure it is the least I could do for my sister's birthday.

Illin'
This past week I had the worst cold of my life. It is just now easing up. With that said, this next week will be dedicated to catching up on things left undone while I be illin'. Which leads me to sharing the goal for March - discover a better way to organize and prioritize my to-do list. The re-caps for February and March will be presented simultaneously in a few weeks sans husky voice.

January Re-cap
My goal for January seemed easy, but of course nothing school related ever is easy for me since college came around. Originally I wanted to enroll in SFL 160. Due to independent study's website reboot at the beginning of the year, my class was no longer listed. After a mini break down, I contacted independent study to see if it was a mistake. Mr. IndyStudy told me that the class was dropped, probably because enrollment was low, and usually if the class was dropped it would not come back. Then I had a major breakdown. I should mention that another class I was planning to take was no longer listed as well - one that I HAD to take to graduate. I sat on that info for a day, then sent an email to the adviser for my major. She quickly responded saying that there had been a huge mistake and that both classes were missed in the reboot. She also said they would be re-listed soon. I waited a day or two and neither class appeared. So as not to fall further behind, I signed up for another class, BUS M 200. My plan was to have the class finished last Monday. It didn't quite happen. I'll have it done next week. But I'm not too discouraged. I've pushed through the mess and kept going. Go me.
February's goal: Go on educational field trips with the Boy once a week.

One more thing
Here is a goal that will carry over the whole year - play with more fireworks! Due to a recent change in AZ law, fireworks are a plenty around these parts. Sparklers are spectacular for light writing and I love me some fireworks as a general rule (in case you didn't know). Here are some pictures from the New Year's extravaganza.

Ringing it in
Last year was fairly proactive. I am pleased with how that theme shaped my year.
The theme for this year will be discover. I want to focus on seeking out knowledge - about who I am/want to be, how to encourage the Boy's love of learning, improve photo skills, and most importantly own the remainder of my independent study courses to finally graduate. And basically I'm a sponge ready to soak up information after this last semester.
Instead of specific goals for the whole year, because it was a 50% failure last year, I'll start every month with a goal to work on. One thing to focus on a month is totally attainable. And I think I'll keep a running list of them all here for organization sake.
January - CompleteSFL 160 BUS M 200
February - Educational field trips with the Boy once a week
March/April - Discover a better way to organize and prioritize my to-do list
May - Stay on schedule for school
